It all started with a simple experience.

I once volunteered at a senior care facility, and the experience has stuck with me. There were so many people there who just needed something small to brighten their day. That’s what made me want to do something that could make people happy—especially for seniors who can sometimes feel a little overlooked.

At the same time, I was going to a lot of events and kept seeing the same thing—beautiful flowers everywhere, and all of them being thrown away.

It didn’t make sense.

So I started thinking about how those flowers could be used instead of being wasted. That’s how Second Bloom came to life.

Now, we collect leftover flowers from events, refresh them, and deliver them to seniors so they can be enjoyed instead of thrown out.

It’s a simple idea, but it turns something that would be discarded into something meaningful.
